Meet some Extraordinary Ladies.

League of Extraordinary Women Canberra Breakfast.

This week we got to meet Laurie McDonald from Canberra Furnished Accommodation. We heard about her early beginnings to where she is now, to where she plans to take her business in the future.

It was great to hear one of her measures of success was  she could bake on a Sunday at home treats for her kids lunch boxes for that week. Don’t we all want that great balance between home and work! Most interesting however, was the chat afterwards that everyone became involved in. It ranged from goal setting for business and life, continually striving, staying on track, how our spiritual beliefs (whatever they might be) guide us in our journey in life and affect how we choose to interact with the world.

Thanks Laurie for the amazing energy you have and for sharing your story. I took away some fantastic gems and as always, walked away with more big ideas rolling around my head.

We also got to try out our new venue EQ Café Lounge at Equinox Business Park Canberra. Thanks to Helen Roe from The Orange Lantern for this great find and  for leading yet another great meet up!

That was the last breakfast meet up for this year. Here’s to meeting up next year with more fabulous ladies!
